1. We don't sell Duck Stamps or Postal Money Orders.
2. Insurance and overnight claims must go through a full Post Office.
3. All packages require a return address.
4. Remove all old labels and barcodes when reusing boxes.
5. Package must not weigh more than 70 lbs.
6. If the maximum combined length and girth is 108 inches or larger, you must ship it to USPS Ground Service.
7. Customs forms are required when mailing packages outside the U.S.
8. Paperwork (flexible items) is machinable; everything else must be sent as a package.
These services are not included automatically and will require an additional fee.
Prove you sent a mailpiece. See when it was delivered, if a delivery attempt was made, and requires the signature of the person who accepts it.
A delivery record (date, time, etc) is kept by the USPS and available electronically or by email. You can specify the person who can sign and receive your item too. (Must be purchased in combination with Certified Mail)
Proof that you mailed something. This official record shows the date your mail was presented to USPS for mailing.
You can add an electronic signature confirmation to your package and have the recipient sign for it. It will be available online or can be emailed upon request.
Adding insurance to your package will give you peace of mind when shipping valuable items. Insurance values over $500 will require a signature upon delivery.
Get the maximum security for your valuable items by using Registered Mail. Items can be insured for up to $50,000 and have a signature record of who handled it during shipping.

We can mail domestic and international packages. International mail is subject to inspection and require the correct customs form.
Many major retailers pay the return postage to the warehouse if you aren't satisfied with their product. Just have your package ready and drop it off with the Postal employee.
Unusual shaped mail, like square or vertical envelopes, lumpy envelopes, and mail with clasps, buttons, etc. must be hand-cancelled. They're charged a non-machineable fee even if they weigh less than 1 oz.
If a mailpiece exceeds the maximum length, height or thickness, it will be charged at the next higher price or mailpiece category.
Flats that exceed maximum dimensions, are rigid, non-rectangular, or not uniformly thick are rigid, are charged parcel prices. All flats must be rectangular or an additional charge may apply.

Some of the common restricted and prohibited items are listed below. Additional size restrictions apply depending on the type of mailpiece you’re sending. There are specific regulations and standards for mailing restricted, prohibited, and hazardous materials, including cigarettes and smokeless tobacco. Lithium-Ion batteries like inside laptops or cameras can ONLY be mailed ground.
Small battery powered devices and toys using common household batteries are permitted to be mailed as long as the batteries are inside of the device.
There are specific rules and regulations when mailing firearms or sharp instruments. Handguns and knives are NOT ACCEPTABLE to mail except between authorized parties. Rifles CAN be mailed only if the proper procedures are followed.
Intoxicating liquors are drinkable beverages that have 0.5 percent or more alcoholic content. No alcohol is allowed to be mailed even those obtained under a prescription or as a collector’s item are also nonmailable. When reusing alcohol boxes, make sure to mark out or cover up all advertising or sales matter.
Prescription, non-prescription and other medicines can be mailed if packaged properly. Absolutely NO narcotics are allowed to be mailed domestically or internationally. (Must follow State and Federal regulations)
There are many substances that are toxic and need special handling when going through the mail. Some common items include flea collars and pesticides. Non-infectious medical specimens and instruments are also mailable under certain conditions.
Perishable matter is anything that can deteriorate, lose value, or create a health hazard under ordinary mailing conditions. It's sent at the mailer’s own risk when it's packaged properly and can be delivered within a reasonable time.
