      There are many different reasons to update your computer. It can become slow or unresponsive when an update is needed. Any piece of hardware can have an issue loading properly if it's failing or the driver is out of date. Some external electronics need firmware updates too, for instance routers, extenders, printers. Operating system updates can fix major flaws in the programming structure. Let's not forget to include the smaller updates from programs such as Microsoft Office, Java, and Adobe Flash Player. These factors can affect your computers performance.

      We can evaluate the issue based off of the computer's symptoms or error message if present. For example, older Mac computers can have trouble loading web pages so updates are needed. Updating the operating system  can resolve major issues in security. Some programs we use need routine updates like anti-virus or data backup software. Our cell phones also need routine updates to keep apps from crashing or fixing a particular issue.

      We can also upgrade your computer setup. Some standard hardware upgrades include changing to a solid state hard drive, increasing RAM, expanding data storage capacity, adding Bluetooth and wireless internet capability. If your computer is having a hardware issue, then we will give a quote to replace it. We carry a selection of standard upgrades in stock. If it's not something we typically carry, then we will custom order it. We also perform firmware upgrades to protect you with the latest in security enhancements.
